The PTR, or Parents Teachers Resources, is a nonprofit organization, operated independently from the school, that has an elected President, Treasurer, Secretary and Members. PTR members are elected by parents, and must be present at every PTR meeting to be able to vote. Parents can participate in PTR meetings, but only Members may vote. The PTR focuses on helping the school with events such as the Halloween Parade, the Holiday Show, and Mardi Gras celebration, etc.

Fundraisers thrown by the PTR should serve an educational purpose and always benefit the students. All of the voting members have a say in how to spend the money. The director of La Petite Ecole has the right to veto any decision taken by the PTR if the decision is not in accordance with the philosophy and ethics of the school.
